Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
If a visitor types a name or case number into a search box on this site, the entry is sent to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the input under its own terms and returns its own results. Crawford County Court Docket does not store or log those search terms on its own servers.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends an email or message, the information in that message may be retained so a response can be provided. Messages are kept within the operating team and are not shared outside it unless a legal duty requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Normal page requests may produce technical information such as:
- the IP address assigned to a device
- browser name and version
- device type and operating system
- pages visited and time spent
- the referring site, when supplied
- timestamps for page views
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. Analytics tools may use them to measure visits, traffic patterns, page performance, and broad navigation trends. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, although some functions may work differently afterward.
What We Do With This Data
Information used by the service is limited to ordinary operation, measurement, security, and delivery of a requested outside search:
- keep the pages available and improve load speed
- send a visitor's search request to the selected outside provider
- understand which pages are useful and which need revision
- find and correct technical faults
- display advertising or sponsored results where applicable
No Court-Record Data on File
This site does not host, maintain, compile, or sell Crawford County dockets, case files, or personal court-record databases. It publishes routing information about the Crawford Superior Clerk, Probate Court, Magistrate Court, Roberta Municipal Court, Georgia court directories, and related vendors. The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. ยงยง50-18-70 through 50-18-73, does not turn this private reference site into the custodian of a court file. The court-specific access rules and Uniform Superior Court Rule 21 govern the official Superior record route.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search widgets and sponsored results may be operated by outside companies. Information entered into those tools is processed by the provider under its own privacy notice. The outside provider may collect account, payment, device, or search information that this site does not control. A referral fee may be paid when a visitor chooses a partner service.
Links to Other Websites
Pages link to Crawford County offices, the Superior Clerk, Georgia Courts, PeachCourt, Probate Records, Roberta Municipal Court, and other official or vendor destinations. Once a visitor follows an external link, the receiving site controls its own content, cookies, security, and data practices. Review that site's privacy terms before submitting information.
Who Might See Your Data
Technical service providers, analytics vendors, advertising or search partners, and people who operate the site may see limited information needed to run the pages. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, court order, fraud prevention, or protection of rights and safety. Visitor messages are not sold as Crawford County court records.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical steps are used to protect information handled by the site. No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure. Do not place sensitive personal information in a message or search field unless the receiving official service asks for it and its own security terms are understood.
Users Under 18
The pages are not directed to children under 13, and the site does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may use the available contact route to request review and deletion, subject to legal and technical limits.
Your Data Rights
Depending on applicable law, a visitor may ask what personal information is held, request correction or deletion, or object to certain processing. A request should identify the information and a reliable way to respond. Some records may need to be retained for security, legal, accounting, or dispute purposes. This policy concerns data handled by this private site, not a Crawford court file.
For an official court record, use the clerk or court that maintains it. Georgia's Attorney General explains that court records are public but that Superior, State, Probate, and Magistrate Courts are not handled through the ordinary Open Records Act procedure. The court case records page describes the Crawford-specific routes.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may change when the site's tools, vendors, or legal obligations change. The newest version will appear here with a revised effective date. Continued use of the pages after an update means the revised policy applies to later visits.
